Sammy's Birthday Begins

This weekend was supposed to be the grandparent's birthday time. However, the Lucas side all had the stomach bug. Very sad. :( So we ended up at my folks for the day. My mom made Sammy a waffle, ice cream cake. She thought maybe something different than a regular cake would be good since we would probably have our fill before this birthday was done.

Since Sammy has a December birthday, it is inevitable that Christmas stuff always coincides. So today they helped my mom decorate her house. This little metal tree was something the boys put together and decorated for my mom. I will have to find a picture of the end product, it turned out very fun.
